Emma Elfversson is Associate Professor (Docent) and conducts research at the intersection of peace and conflict research, development studies, and comparative politics. Her ongoing and recent research concerns urbanization and conflict, postwar violence, community policing and police-civil society relations, land conflict, and local conflict resolution mechanisms, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
